Is there a new album in the making? Could have swore I read something about a new album.
I really enjoyed the demo and Time To Repent. Killer doom in the vein of Pentagram, Pagan Altar, and the likes.

Not sure why this band get's lumped in with shitty psych/rock bands like Ghost, Blood Ceremony and The Devil's Blood.

Devil is great. I read a new album is in the works as well.

Fuck those hipster psych rock bands you mentioned above. The genre they're trying to "emulate" was put to rest decades ago ha.

Devil is brilliant. I can't wait for more material. Too bad they had to cancel their tour here in October. Hope to see them sometime. Alright now!

And I can't for any reason understand why people always say Ghost and TDB play the same kind of music.

To be on topic, I really hope Devil release more stuff. Great band, and one of the funniest threads ever on this forum was when someone who played in an old band called Devil was uttering his homoerotic fantasies about everyone who liked the norwegian band.

Maybe because both play poppy pseudo-psychedelic rock.

Devil's new album "Gather the sinners" is supposedly to be recorded early 2013 and released during spring 2013. Late summer there will also be a split album with The Sabbathian (US). We will release everthing on cd as well as vinyl!

Haha, I'm glad we're not forgotten, and I'm glad THAT thread isn't either.

As Mr. Soulseller says over here, we're working on the second album. All music is written, and we're really just waiting to start recording, which will happen early January. Then hopefully the album will be out as soon as possible.

And we're truly sorry for the Finland incident, it's 100% on us. We decided, part amateurish, part running out of time, that we needed to rethink our schedule and make an impact both on record and on the stage when the time is due. So I hope we'll be able to visit Finland in the close future anyhow, and have some heavy rock and vodka with our eastern friends.

The first sign of new that you will hear from Devil (Norway, may I add) is actually a sweet little thing called "Lead Me Astray" that will be appearing in the Norwegian short movie "Tomhet" (Emptiness).

Not the heavies we ever done, but we'll give you a notice when it's available.

Rgrds,
Stian
