MEGATOMB (SWEDEN) - Louder Than a Thousand Deaths MLP
Blackened is the ostentation of death metal the vilest way. Anointed are the oils of harrowing tones anarchically slipped on the dantesque palette of insanity, extracted and merged from blood clots and disintegrated humans remains. But what Megatomb do achieve, is not an orgy of gore but a hasty act of uncontrolled debauchery translated on the mother of all known and future slaughters. And so materialize the evocations that come throughout the length of decades of former horrors: neat Metal with capital letters, unpredictable yet smooth and lethal on its result, with countless casualties. An achievement of mass destruction and global demise, inflicted with due fury after being under and exposed to the pernicious influence of the distorted Stockholm riffing meets the bullets and spikes fuck off violation of Nifelheim on hard drugs. Feel the barrel touching the sweat of your skin, taste its gelid iron touch invading you mouth and wait for the lead to put an end to your most pre
cious treasure: your own life which is close to cease forever.
100 on ORANGE.
400 on BLACK.
CHRONIC DECAY (SWEDEN) - Justify Your Existance LP
Re-press of this classic of the Swedish death metal of 100 copies on red vinyl.
Recorded back in ’94, only now excavated from the crypts, Justify Your Existence is a masterpiece of Swedish Death Metal in the ancient tradition. Comprised of members who went on to form legendary rawpunk acts Dischange and Meanwhile, this LP documents a very different approach. Anger, despair, and hateful desperation; imagine if you will the effortless poise of Dismember colliding with the brutal threat of early Sepultura, all combined with the violent fury of Napalm Death. Chronic Decay takes the tired clichés of death/thrash, injecting the corpse with a mercurial holocaust of merciless intent. Raise the dead, raise your fist!

Love that Megatomb art.
For CD people, the Megatomb CD version is in the works by Dark Descent. Just finished a first pass of the layout the other day.
Jesus - can you send me all your Chronic Decay art and layout files, for a, uh, personal project? Thanks. _________________ http://unspeakableaxerecords.com |

It's possible that this may happen some day from some label or other. I know nothing, and if asked I will only repeat what I just said. _________________ http://unspeakableaxerecords.com |

Most likely the Chronic Decay will be a compilation of material. _________________ http://www.darkdescentrecords.com |

I'd listen to that Megatomb just based on the cover art. |

Cool... but not totally. Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I enjoy the Exanthema tunes a liitle bit more than the Chronic Decay ones in the split.
Oh well. The vinyl is available but I've been too broke money wise (and spirit wise).
Fuck. |
