noism has parallels with this us as far as the thick low-mid-to-mid-freq guitar sound...the drum machine certainly places them/him in a grouping with Mick Barr's guitar solo-with-drum-machine stuff

Mindfull Noise Detonates Lykanthropik Sado-Barbarik Light Speed Thundering Nuklear Goddessrape is about biomechanical blasting and an organic-machinism all the way thru to the vocoder-esque throat-singing.
I'm listening to one piece by noism right now that sounds like fucking EDM with better drum sounds..it's ALL electronic...it's worse than the worst thing we've ever done --or Mick's solo-with-drum-machine stuff-- by a wide margin.
Though I appreciate your reference and I do dig this noism as a more generic form ov the KRATORNAS school, I can't agree with your assertion that it's better on the grounds that our music is simply superior in harmonic counterpoint and novelty ov invention...and my tempos rival his unblinking drum programming, though they're not as consistent...I don't want them to be...idiosyncrasy yields a forest ov detail, uniformity yields nothing additional.

Agreed.
..like all that marilyn-manson stuff where they plug in a machine and think it's as brutal...I did NOT like MEATHOOK SEED.
They always grow up and have a kid with some bitch and then they akt like programming fast beats is gonna cut the mustard which it can never do.
brutal sound and brutal feeling comes from BRUTAL DEEDS.
It's in the way Fenriz hits the cymbal bell in "Panzerfaust", with more force than is 'necessary'.
I mus admit that I think HAVOHEJ is that rarest ov exceptions because it's motivation is utterly nebulous and his delivery is so depraved.

thanks for sayin' so.
which reminds me, "hyperblasting" I would define as drumming in a 32nd-note meter and/or pressroll snare beats (64th notes) over 32nd note bassdrum beats.
It's pretty much the fastest beat that can be played.
