I heard awhile back that Dirtmaster became a World of Warcraft layabout and lost interest in making music. Not sure how true that is.
I would love to hear some more Hail and Wormphlegm, but after all this time it would surely be a disappointment. |

The album is great, and fortunately overlooked for the most part so the whynil is extra-cheap. I wouldn't hold my breath for anything new, but if any band should have done a split with Faustcoven, it's Hail.

It was pretty much a one-man band, so the future of the band is in the hands of that one man. Fantastic album though. But after all this time it's hard to imagine a follow-up would be as good as one might hope.

you'd better wait for reissues of Dirtmaster's other works (some are on the way and must be out soon as far as I know). It seems there's a lot of unreleased stuffs !! Unfortunately, I don't think there will be something new ...
also check Kutcheck Gorealis' projects, you won't be disappointed
best finnish bands with Barathrum, not the semi-melodic shitty bands everybody thinks are defining "finnish sound" |

Best finnish band is Impaled Nazarene and always will be. |

Old Barathrum (pre-Legions) is there in the top ones. Nowadays Barathrum, no way.
I asked from Tyranny member couple months ago that is there going to be new Wormphlegm, Hail etc material. He said it's just uncertain since Dirtmaster is having different interests for now.

hmm, i am actually like most of barathrum stuff, but trick is that i am not finn, so... anyway i just believe that it is much more connected to Sova behavior/lifestyle then actually music.
at other hand i can agree that older stuff better(but hey, you can say same about so many bands) |
