Good to see Blood and Valor getting props. People seem to always rate the debut. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

I think it's mainly because KK warlslut wasn't on Blood and Valor.
Be that as it is, it's still a killer release. |

That is funny. I'm pretty sure i've read an interview where Keith says that Blood And Valor is the better release.
Apparently D666 was formed because he wanted to use the riffs that weren't being used in Bestial Warlust. Therefore i guess it makes sense. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

I've always preferred Corpse Molestation but I picked up the first album on LP recently and after revisiting it I do enjoy them a lot more. _________________ deathrash |

Lame or not, they are visibly different records and the obvious dynamic shift being the departure of KK and the arrival of Jordy. Vengeance was a spasmodic and chaotic abomination, often on the brink of complete ruin. Blood on the other hand was more controlled, refined and I think Joe's Possessed worship shone through too brightly. The first record culminated their collective influences but Blood didn't really deliver that.

Corpse Molestation is immense. Everything is right: the music, songstructures, the production and the atmosphere. I never heard anything better in this field. Far more brutal and twisted than everything else. Only Sadistik Exekution first 3 records and the Abominator fist demo can match this. Only in Australia: used to be the best country for death/thrash/black _________________ Good deals: bMz, Humus, Fils de Metal, Tireheb, CR99, Sv, Stormbringer, MickO, Overdubz, The Exorcist, Darkrider, Werewolf, Panzerdeath, NWN, Piotr Sargnagel, Cdan, Quillotine, |

Great fucking band. Better than most "bestial" bands.
Corpse Molestation's demo is one of the best ever. |

I second this who needs that trendy children stuff on ssp and what else "bestial" "war" is flavour of the week anyway

Somehow people never seem to notice the Deicide influence in some songs on Vengeance War.
"Blasphemy clone" is really off the mark, the overall riffing is quite different.
Blood & Valor is indeed more controlled but fucking great nonetheless. _________________ A nobody in a world of somebodies.

Probably prefer the second album. Damo's a good bloke too, come down to Box Hill in footy season and have a can or two with him. Likes a chat. |
