I saw that as well about two years ago (from TV of course). That one inquisition scene was a real eye opener as I noticed that it had been sampled by Impaled Nazarene on Ugra-Karma. I had been wondering about it since ages!
Good, bizarre movie anyways. _________________ Heavy Metal Nuts

I've had this sitting in my netflix queue for ages. Guess I should finally check it out |
Do yourself a favor comrade and check it out. It's extremely killer
If that don't do the trick then watch SNOWTOWN that's also on NETFLIX I believe. |

Noticed that "I am inspired by the devil!" scene first time last night and today took whole day at work to wonder who has that sample in their song. Couldnt remember it myself so had to ask from good ol internet. _________________ Mors fennico more |

I loved Kill List. The subtle build up to violence throughout the movie is awesome. I also love telling my friends why they're idiots for not liking it. |

THX 1138
George Lucas's attempt at Brave New World meets 1984 type dystopia. A little dry or boring at times but aesthetically pleasing, like the aesthetics of Star Wars with all of the fun removed.
Boxing Helena
Sherilyn Fenn fans will appreciate a good many moments in this for obvious reasons (the only reason I really sought it out to watch in the first place). A lot different than what I was expecting judging by the description I read but quite well done. Bizarre black comedy bordering on soft porn. _________________ Malaria

Definitely. The occult aspect of it is what caught my attention, like you said the movie is very subtle leading to something massive. The violence in the movie was pretty fucking rad, I enjoyed the hammer smashed skull scene. |

Jean Luc Godards's "Weekend" balances the fucked up and brilliant formula nicely.
Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired
And then I saw Django Kill Whitey last night...good time... |

Kill list is fucking Brilliant. Even that drunken dinner party at the beginning was pretty disturbing. Really liked the way it didnt offer any sort of closure or explaination at the end. |

The end made me go "WHAT THE FUCK" and it did offer no explanation of any sort, your just left guessing what the entire movie was about. |

Me too actually - watched it a few weeks ago for the first time. Defiantly a contender for best war movie. |
