I'll agree that Hoest has over a decade of boring releases under his belt, but there isn't a single second of Nattestid that should be called "garbage."
CDG track threw me off at first. Not sure what I think but it sounds good.

agreed with both points... Taake was great through Doedskvad in my mind, and for a long time would have been a band I had no problems saying was a favorite. now days, not so much. S/T was a massive disappointment, then eventually came the haunting live collab with shining  
as for CdG sample, I feel MUCH the same there too. hopefully the rest of the album is a little better OR it just manages to grow on me a lot more. I guess time will tell once the rest of the material is available and released. all this early hype and speculation is never a good thing

Where did you dig this band out from? I mean Magic Circle! It's awesome. And the prices for the single are pretty awesome, too
