Voted for Cold Steel because it's fucking great, obviously, however I do love Unchain a lot as well. Also, Phoenix Rising and Terror Abraxas are very good. Still don't have Defiance, but heard some tracks on youtube and they sounded a bit less intersting.
Also, don't really remember how many times I've seen them live, guess nearly 10, I'd love to see again (and again... and again...). |

My favorite D666 songs are on the old 7"s. Satanic Speed Metal, King of Kings, etc. Best LP for me is Cold Steel.

Everything ranges from good to brilliant.
Unchain The Wolves gets top spot for me though. Majestic metal genius. Nothing else sounds quite like it.

Tough choice for me; D666 is one of my favorites...
Had to narrow it down to Unchain, Phoenix, and Cold Steel.
Then from there, I think I have to go with Phoenix Rising simply because it was the first one I listened to. I could just as easily say UTW.
Edit: "I Am the Wargod" is probably what clenches my vote for PR. That fucking song seriously evokes some kind of inspired savagery. |
