I might be mistaking but I don't remember that specific type of TDK tapes being around yet in 1989. _________________ Permabanned |

Both the Funebre demos were hand numbered. "Cranial Torment" cover was black and white. |

About the Manes demo tapes, are the original ones on TDK D60 tapes without stickers, and xeroxed covers? _________________ good deals with wolfram, mickO)), luca bright, Portentum, xyosefx, Chit019, bMz, Stygian shadows zine, funeralfog666, jesus iglesias, paria, humus, somberlain |

I am not expert either, but I thought originals said "FUCK" and "OFF" only, not side fuck and side off... in any case, I would gladly take a bootleg copy if it were priced accordingly ($5/euro or less) _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

The originals also have an address stamped on the reverse side or at least the Maanens Natt does. Something that bootleggers don't know/realise... can't remember what tape it was on but I think mine was on a 90 minute tape- but I'm pretty sure they used anything back then- the stamp on the back is the real test. And mine had a label on one side that just said 'Manes' in black pen. _________________ TOTAL SUPPORT TO BLASPHEMOUS LUST |

just a thought, but with some of these older demos, is it not possible original "non pro" tapes could have been eaten or destroyed over time, and simply redubbed onto another tape? I would think verifying cover authenticity is the most important part. that said, its always nice when bands/labels do stamps on the reverse side of covers as mentioned above. I would think with these old school demos, or any demo in general the cover is the most important part... even if someone tried xeroxing the reverse side of the covers, it should be very obvious its still a scan and not a stamp _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

The two Mortuary Drape demos aren't original. _________________ WANT LIST

I just paid a decent amount for a Bacchia Neraida - Dionysos CS
Looks like a boot, and he went way out of his way to forge it. Has a double sided color cover and is hand numbered -- but the cover has creases in it that are xeroxed and not actual creases , if that makes sense.
And the tape is on a Maxell 60, which I've heard is how most tapes come from this guy....
His discogs selection and pricing all seems weird -- proceed with caution. |
This faggot is well-known piece of shit... RIP-OFF scumbag who changes his ebay nicknames like socks. Avoid!

Ha, I was just about to send this person $100 for some tapes. It seemed to good to be true, so I did a quick search of the board and found this post. Looks like I saved myself a serious headache. _________________ Analog Worship

About the Manes demos, do not take for granted that all the original ones have an ink stamp on the backside of the card, that's not true at all. Cern himself told me that. The tapes used were random tapes, even used ones, and there could be some handwriting on them. An original Manes demo sometimes is impossible to be recognized even by the band members. Show me the pics of the Mortuary Drape demos, I can compare them to my two original ones. |
