I hope so. $28 for an LP and CD sound like not enough.... |
Don't you live in Canada, the same province even as Profound Lore? |

Hells Headbangers?
That's just a possible guess, as it seems they seem to have a recent vinyl version relationship. Have not read any details on the matter yet though. |

Indeed I do... part of the same city (technically, Mississauga is NOT Toronto), I guess it'll all work itself out |

I do beleive his postage is included in price, I've ordered the odd cd here and there from PFL, never had to add extra postage cost, he somehow has it worked out when you choose your location, maybe things get trickier when vinyls and shirts are added in quantity, for me and the few cd's though it's been pretty standard, straight to paypal and around a week later the merch is here, the way it went last time anyways. |

PFL needs to centralize in Canada and expand, become the HHR of the North.
Maybe buy a series of his own black metal mini-vans and start a shipping business on the side.
I did some order interests from a few fave distro's and applied the postage calculations, fuck... I guess I own enough records now, time for phase three of my metal life, stepping into the bitter mode of everything after 2012 sucks goat balls and is worthless shit that don't need to be heard or owned. |

I'm exceptionally happy to say that this record lives up to my impossibly high expectations - really dig the production, songwriting, musicianship, vocals, and I'm even digging the artwork the more I see it.
I fucking love the art in the booklet as well, hopefully this gets a release that will rival Swarth and come with a big ass booklet of all those drawings. I like the creepy bugs the best..... |

I got this in the mail the other day too, didn't listen to it yet, but I did flip through the book/digi and I will recant my dislike of the artwork comment before some too, the package as a whole is pretty good looking.
The cover is far from my favourite, but the package as a whole it all works and has those elements of 'weird' to it still suiting this band. |

That should be alright. Bruni likes attention to detail and is willing to produce a top notch LP I do beleive.
Seems like PFL took some time off LP's there though, I am going to guess there is no place to make them affordable up here?
Perhaps this is the beggining of his vinyl attack then. |

I like it.
Seems like there is a lot more space, in that it doesn't see quite as frantic as Swarth, but it's probably also a result of the "clearer" production, i.e being able to hear what everything is doing!
I imagine it breathing and pulsating vilely ,like the brain and bizarre insect eldritch creatures depicted in the artwork.
Will listen more. |

Got my CD in on Saturday. I've been playing the hell out of it... by far, my favorite album of theirs. Have to agree with what Dismal said with the songs having time to breath. Seems much more focused. Great record!
WHEN COMES VINYL? |

I only listened to the album a few times so far it sounds ok but nothing special it will probably take a while for it to click like all the portal full lengths. |
