Didn't know that. I'll wait for my order to come and get back to you. Song I heard sounded promising. _________________

Things pick up on the 2nd song, was digging that, and the 3rd is pretty good so far as well now too.
Marketing gimmick? Make the 1st song slightly less perfect, then when all of a sudden the next kicks on it sounds that much better? |

If this wasn't Darkthrone, it would be yet another early Running Wild and Manilla Road tribute band amongst the current metal climate of retro worship. It's decent, but doesn't seem to do much by it's own merits without being under the Darkthrone banner to warrant more than a few listens. _________________ + EXITIVM PRODVCTIONS +

I can certainly see your point and agree with it.
Being an established name already does much for a record under it's banner. No doubt!
These boys been around the scene for sometime now, it is possible they are tapped dry for originallity, now they pay tribute and use their established name to sell that... which is okay as well, they earned it really. |

Album of the year in my opinion. It's awesome and the 80s influences are definitely incorporated tastefully. _________________ http://metantoinemagicalrealm.blogspot.ca |

| Maybe this album will grow on me after more listens, but the first impression is "they tried to do something too serious to let it sound awkward, but it sounds way too awkward to be taken seriously". |
