Thy mighty contract is the obvious answer here. Runner up for me would have to be A Dead Poem.

I don't know why 'Thy Mighty Contract' has so many votes. Though it's a really great album, I think NON SERVIAM is infinitely superior. Just my opinion, obviously.

"Ah nem ya ander ar calt!!!"... that Greek pronunciation fucking kills!!

I really like everything RC did from Santus Diavolos onward, but it gets too repetitive at times. Listening to the new album now, and I really like it, but the same complaint stands.

Based on the first four tracks - holy crap that is bad. Same fucking trick over and over and over again. They've done this exact style for years and still manage to get worse and worse. I mean... how on earth do you go from Transform All Suffering Into Plagues to THIS?

Now if you excuse me, I have to go watch Weird Or What with William Shatner.

Yep, there was a time when Sakis actually wrote RIFFS. Nowadays, it's just a matter of writing a weak main melody of single notes (no chords), adding some chugging rhythm guitars underneath playing the root notes, and then layering on additional guitar tracks and samples to hide the fact that there's no substance anymore. If you listen to anything post-Triarchy, the formula is completely predictable and maddening. It didn't get that bad until "Genesis," where the formula became unbearable (just listen to the construction of the first two tracks - same shit).

Someone needs to lock Sakis and Themis in a basement with an old 4-track recorder and tell them to write an album with no bouncing of tracks.

Passage to Arcturo should be on this list without a doubt.

My vote goes to Non Serviam.

I have it but I never found any real issue with the sound quality, but then again my ears are more used to the shitty CM CD reissue.

It's poorly made. The bottom seam on my jacket was starting to come apart on arrival. It wasn't glued together properly, so there is a weird lump in it when you try to close it.

Passage to Arcturo is equal with ''Thy mighty..''!!!
But yes,''Thy Mighty..'' is their best full length and one of the best EVER!

The LP is of decent quality. The real problem is that it is impossible to get an undamaged copy from the label.
