Just stole the album now, going to give it a listen. The previous album 'The Horror' as I recall was decent, somehow ended up with it on CD and LP so I had better like it.
We'll see what all the jibber jabber on the new one is about. The case of too high un-natural expectation to be met after one great album or did they (the band) spend to much time letting the expectation to be expected get into their own head and they over worked the album?
I will see in about an hour. |

Definitely took several listens for most of it to sink in, but once it did I was happy I listened to it...it really is a masterpiece, lots of awesome nods to popul vuh, some to morbid angel, but basically it's just kickass riffs and a very cool "movie-like" occult atmosphere. |

I think it's time to calm down a lot. This thread's already 14 pages, how many more posts of "AWESOME GREAT ALBUM \m/" are really needed to get the point across? _________________ http://unspeakableaxerecords.com |
