Yeah, there's maybe two good tracks on Thirteen. I was really hoping for another rager after Endgame. I still have a bit of hope for the new album, but I'm not holding my breath.

It was rumored that Dave was just fulfilling a contract with that album, hence why so little effort seemed to go into it and why so much of it consisted of old tracks. So hopefully the next one will be better. But I'm not holding my breath either. With all old bands still churning along, I take the same attitude with each new release: if it's good, that's a nice bonus. If it's bad, I won't be surprised or disappointed, I'll just go listen to some younger and more enthusiastic band, as there are hundreds of them.

Endgame is the best album out of them all, since Super Collider isn't out yet.
The other albums have some filler tracks / time-wasters, which is b.s. for someone as talented as Mustaine. |
