Tangerine Dream. not dark at all (though not exactly bright and happy either) just mandatory ambient. Klaus Schulze is great too

on board with Klaus Schulze and agree, mandatory. Ill have to give Tangerine Dream a listen.
forgot to add Goatworshipper-Blackgoat Harshnoise demo cdr (satanic power electronics by Kawakami of disclose) actually pretty good. Kind of reminds me of Allegory Chappel LTD at times with the approach. |

^^killer! never heard of this Kawi related PE project (ever) this sparks A LOT of interest for me. I'll have to investigate further into this matter
if you are down with Schulze, then TD will be an absolute no fail for you. hard to say a good one to start with, but they are all essentially great, especially anything from the early 80s on back. you can almost pick out any one and go from there. Electronic Meditation is the only odd ball of the lot. its the first and only release they did which utilized guitars, etc. comes off like typical weird german Kraut (as in a good thing) where as the rest is ambient electronics. also Schulze and Con used to work with TD, so that should give you even more of an idea of what you are getting into (total essentials!)

I think its cool that he did it. He made so great noise via disclose and its really great that this exists . The truest harsh head around.
