That paintin gis actually a very good choice for a cover-artwork.

I don't think he disagrees with you. The point is that whoever cropped the image and used that stupid font fucked up. Why, for example, did they cut off the horses hooges? |

I'd definitely go for that, casioguestkeyboards by Mortiis. _________________ www.UnbornProductions.com

So whats the concensus here?
Another really poetic mastercraft of art like that last album, or a slight return to the black metal style of Belus and Fallen?
I for one was not exactly keen on Umskiptar at first, but I did revisit the album a few times and it literally changed my mind. It is actually an excellent album.
So for this next one I don't know what to expect, but I am hoping for another album that makes me spend some time considering it. |

It's already been said that it's an electronic album. |

I don't know this poster and I swear I haven't checked his NWN history, yet from this one post I can positively reconstruct gromcrom's bio:
AGE: 18-20
COUNTRY: Poland, Ukraine or some other eastern-european cesspool
OCCUPATION: student living at his mother's basement
FAVE BANDS: Burzum (he owns two Greek bootleg cds of Det Som and he's convinced they're originals because some thread on Metal Archives forum said so) Mutiilation, DTL, Mayhem (Dead era only), Marduk, all derivative norsecore. Hates heavy and death metal.
HABITS: drinking. Enjoys the occasional joint despite hating negroids and their habits
HOBBIES: RPGs, videogames, horror movies. Plays guitar in some local highschool bm band directly influenced by the bands mentioned above; has a parallel black/thrash project with songs like "Satanic metal attack", "Alcoholic devastation", "Chains'n'leather" and "Unholy black mass"
FAVE BOOKS: The Metalion diaries; Lords of Chaos; all Lovecraft; has pre-ordered the Voices from the Darkside book and bombs Iron Bonehead daily with emails asking when it will be out
GOALS IN LIFE: to live from music | Hahahahah beautiful |

You can hear his new music on "ForeBears" already. Sounds very much like Vangelis or Tangerine Dream. That in itself would not be a bad thing IMO, but when he starts to record music that "sounds like..." it's getting downhill with Burzum, as a matter of course. Burzum always sounded like... Burzum, first and foremost. And now that...! _________________ Horde Absurd: www.hordeabsurd.com

I am not intending any trolling, but H. do you know if Varg suffers any mental illness? His behaviour on a whole seems pretty weird. Maybe some kind of personality disorder? Who knows, but it's always sad to see a legend fall ... _________________

I don't think he really cares about what anyone thinks about him and his music. Even if Varg recorded his and his wife's farts, the shit will sell. |

I'm fairly sure this album will be amazing. Also: as a massive, massive Tangerine Dream fan, I welcome that reference, but personally I do not hear a lot of it in the ForeBears soundtrack. I suppose I see it in a vague sense, though. |

I see it from that point of view: If i visit a chinese restaurant and get Weisswurst and Sauerkraut, i am really pissed. If i buy Burzum and get any lame assed electronic music, well guess ... _________________

When I think about it, I haven't looked forward to a new Burzum record since Hvis. That was in what, 1994? almost 20 years ago...Even minus the dribbling wibble that the lunatic spews out every (what seems like) 5 seconds, it's just become rather "factory". |

umskiptar needs some time to become mature inside me.
no need for burzum to be so productive.
but cannot accuse Varg ,the last two records are great! |
