A few more that I thought of:

Jocke Grave on "Sleep Forever"
Daniel Erlandsson on the Eucharist demo
his big brother on "Gardens of Grief"
Mick Harris on "Mentally Murdered" (one of the best ever!!!)
Commando Sandoval on "World Downfall"

and definitely agree with Faust on 1st 2 Emperor, Sandoval on "Altars..." and Fenriz on "Funeral Moon"

The druming on Mgla : With hearts.. Has real soul and feeling, I also feel the drumming on CDG henbane was excellent and added something sinister and creepy. Also worth noting is the drumming on the first track of the new Baprism album carries the song so well.

Is it the same guy live? If so, yes, he is outstanding!

I guess so, because he's actually even better live! That drummer is fucking masterful and one of the most impressive I've ever seen.

No one's with me on TEITANBLOOD's drummer?! you guyz nuts or what?

I also deem HELLHAMMER to be quite a great drummer, including for Arcturus.

Capricornus on Graveland's Thousand Swords. Sloppy but played in a war-like manner. Very fitting for the album.

This. Also, some of the drum machine used later on by Darken sounds extremely soulful...

Pretty sure on Will Stronger Than Death/Spears of Heaven he plays the drums by himself. Some of the patterns and fills sound too crazy for a machine.

what about Fire of Awakening? the drum-production sounds like a machine, but the playing itself is so akward and faulty that I can't imagine a machine would be able to play that

I completely agree. The detail and the fucking feeling on accents is outstanding. Yeah it's the same drummer as on release. I want to say that those guys play better live than the recording..

I always found Gorath Moonthorn's drumming on "Vinum Intus" to be very refreshing.

Incubus from Inquisition is one of the most interesting drummers in underground metal; really makes the songs shine.

Whoever plays drums in Mgla is also a favourite of mine; he has the ability, like Incubus, to totally shift the feel of a riff with a simple change in his playing.
Two drummers that immediately popped into my head when I read the title of the thread. Esp MGŁA.

Agreed, thought the same thing.

Additionally, the new Baptism has drumming on another level.

Sandoval eternal! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVHI2tckHjM
I also agree with the MGLA mention. "Groza" and "With Hearts..." feature some excellent drumming.

Yes! Definitely not the most obvious answer; Wouldn't have been the first drummer on my mind but I completely agree. Two of the best Priest albums sent over the time by his performance.

I remember one interview saying that the drummer actually wrote most of the riffs for Obscura
