Been spinning a lot Completely Dehumanized lately and it totally crushes.
Took me a while to fully appreciate the blend of "medievil" melodies la Abigor/Satyricon and ripping death/thrash parts not unlike Angelcorpse and 1349, plus the sci-fi/technocratic feel from the samples, but now it has become a favorite of mine.

Is there something similar around?

I love Blasterpiece Theater and Completely Dehumanized.

I never found much in the way of similar bands.

Completely Dehumanized does crush indeed. Never checked out Blasterpiece b/c of the drum machine. Saw it at a local shop used so maybe I'll pick it up anyway.

I only have Til Ten Years which was semi-alright-ish at best. Haven't listened to it in like 5 years. Going for ten.

No idea about their other albums, but I guess I might as well take a look at this Completely Dehumanized you speak of. Something tells me this isn't going to end well though.

I've only heard the demo Wolftread and Til Ten Years. I remember thinking the demo was pretty decent but the album was a bit awkward sounding in parts. Been much longer than 10 years since I've listened to it. Never heard the later stuff, kind of forgot about/ignored this band honestly.

Generic Terrorizer extreme metal. Felt like every band in the late 90s/early 00s sounded like this.

Wolftread and Til Ten Years both sucked. If those are your only experience with the band you ought to give Completely Dehumanized a shot.

"Completely Dehumanized" is freaking awesome.
The follow up was a mess I always thought.

I remember seeing "Completely Dehumanized" a million times at a local record store and thinking it was some gay-ass deathcore band because of the terrible cover. This track I'm listening to off of it reminds me a lot of this band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPKcIiHRilQ

Completely Dehumanized is a pretty fucking ripping record. Tel Ten Years and Blasterpiece I do not are for at all. But CD is a unique blend .......black metal and thrash mixed together in a way that hasnt been done before or since.

Completely Dehumanized is one of a kind. Genuine US underground classic if there ever was one!

Great band and totally underrated, their CDs cost somewhat near nothing nowadays and it's a shame they're so forgotten in a time black metal is "cool" when sounding different. Completely Dehumanized is a great album but I think Blasterpiece Theatre is better by far. I never checked their debut & demo so I have no opinion on these.

The demo is pretty good. The band hates the first album. It wasn't even listed in their discography on their official webpage (when they had one.) Can't say I love it, but I think there may be personal/lineup reasons for their feelings toward it.
