I watched The Professional last night. Natalie Portman is so fuckin cute in that movie, but too young! There is something pedoish about that movie...

Been on a naziploitation trip lately.

I don't usually bother to buy DVDs but Daymmn

SS-Hellpack I & II + the dutch "Nazi Cult Collection" work as well as awesome movie-marathon as decorative pieces.

Everyone who thought that production values, acting, continuity etc. of the Ilsa-trilogy were absolutely way too high (They had money for a friggin Helicopter in THE THIRD PART OF THE SERIES) should delve themselves into greatness of this genre.

In the original script, they actually have sex. No joke.

Saw Jim Van Bebber's "The Manson Family" at the cinema last night. Although I have seen it many times it was very cool to see it on the big screen. Very lame crowd, 8 people in total including me and my friend and two people walked out during the Sharon Tate murder scene. They also showed Van Bebber's new short/promo "Gator Green" before the feature. It was cheap, gritty and violent so Van Bebber fans should enjoy it. Hopefully he can secure funding to make the full film!

I remember hearing that some edit of the film emphasizes that aspect of their relationship more. Perhaps it was just a rumor. Anyway it's really not a major part of the story anyway and it is one of my favorite movies of all time. Long live Besson!

Yeah there is a version that really does emphasise the sexual nature of their relationship. It is slightly creepy, but I love Leon. Excellent film.

I actually think the relationship between Leon and Mathilda was the most important aspect of the movie, it's what sets it apart from the typical master/pupil film.

Saw Jurassic Park in 3D last night. Pretty cool to see it on a big screen again, there were only 3 or 4 really good 3D scenes though.

Hmm..I do want to see the remake of The Evil Dead. I actually like the comedic aspect of the originals, so I'm not sure I'll like the 'seriousness' of the remake. At least there is no CGI.

I remember 'watching' the Evil Dead 2 on a trip on new years a few years ago...interesting!

Seen a few recently..

I saw the devil; pretty good, quite fucked up Korean thriller

Sinister; started off ok, then got silly. Good original soundtrack, plus Ulver and Aghast which was quite surprising to hear!

The Paperboy; enjoyed it, although some douche actors in it.

The cube
