This! Totally agree with you.
There needs to be consistency throughout multiple releases.

That's what happens when a bloated label like Napalm releases a new album. _________________ ... |

I want the new album, but I'm not interested in a vinyl, and I don't want the die fairly hard edition either.
I just want the plain old CD, but it doesn't even have all the songs on it, so... no.
Thanks Napalm. _________________ ... |

Rise and Fall's bonus track was on the digipak version of the CD. But yeah, it sucks that one has to order a boxset in order to get the extra tracks. |

The forest green version of old mornings dawn looks to be sold out now, these are going fast or people are buying multiple copies. |
Released as standard jewelcase, limited gatefold 2-LP in white (500), golden (300 copies) and forest green (300 copies) and as limited deluxe box-set CD including logo pendant, patch and "Flaming Eye" flag.
The box-set CD and the forest green vinyl contain 2 bonus tracks:
09. The Darkening of Valinor
10. With Fire and Sword
Why couldn´t Napalm Rec. add the bonus tracks to all the vinyl editions?
Obviously the forest green vinyl edition is ABSOLUTLEY SOLD OUT!!! _________________ MILITIA EST VITA HOMINIS SUPRA TERRA

I really have no idea, I get surprised when I read this in the metal archives. It seems that the info is wrong or incomplete on the metal archives. _________________ MILITIA EST VITA HOMINIS SUPRA TERRA

The store does indeed mention that the white vinyl also has the bonus tracks. Metal Archives is full of some truly autistic people so no wonder if there is fucked up info as well. _________________ Heavy Metal Nuts

On the track list info:
Limited Gatefold 2-LP in WHITE 180g Vinyl. Limited to 500 Copies Seven long and agonizing years have finally come to an end, as "Old Mornings Dawn" - the highly anticipiated new album by the cult band SUMMONING - is about to be released! Despite the long break, the congenial duo Silenius and Protector did not stray an inch from their patch. Their distinctive melodies are the heart of all the songs on the latest longplayer, and bring the listeners directly into the fantastic world of Middle-Earth. This becomes evident in e.g. "Caradhras", where already the first notes let the mighty and ice-clad mountain appear in the mist, whereas "Flammifer" summons the spirit of Eärendil. The majestic and diverse hymns are a monument of epic proportions and are beyond comparison in each and every second. SUMMONING's Epic Black Metal is the perfect soundtrack for a world filled with legendary characters, massive strongholds and breathtaking landscapes. "Old Mornings Dawn" marks the glorious return of a band, who has already become a legend in its own right.

Either Napalm made a copy/paste mistake while wrinting the item descprition (I don't buy it, but possible), or your source is wrong.
If you want to be sure, a quick mail to Napalm Rec and case closed.
But I think it's more complicated for them to press copies with bonus and other without, so I'm pretty sure there are on every version. |

But are they really bonus tracks then if every version has them? I ordered a green copy so I'm not worried about it either way. |

Napalm really decided to cash in this time with that useless boxset. They usually release a limited edition digipack with one or two bonus tracks and it's only a couple bucks more than the regular version, which is perfectly fine with me. Adding a bunch of useless junk that most people do not want anyway and severely jacking up the price because of it is something else though. _________________ Good buyers/sellers/traders: Rabenzauber, Tireheb, DTD, motorcharged82, LifeDepraved, Wilhelm, sacrifist, lord pazzuzu, ildjarn74 |
