A normal professional cover artist like Seagrave or Verwimp would charge at least 1500 for a high res photograph of the work to be implemented as the cover. The actual original painting would sell for several thousand at least.

Wow. GREAT art. The best compliment I can pay is that it immediately has me interested in these bands, most of whom I've never heard of - who the fuck are Stav and Warpstone?

This guy deserves to be the Seagrave of the current underground. Not that their styles are similar but the artwork is similarly engrossing to me. This guy's work is much dirtier and more realistic in feel than Seagrave's though, which I always thought of as deliberately fantastical with a bit of comic book flair around the edges.

Excellent Seagrave tie-in with separation of the two styles. I bought Effigy of the Forgotten just because of the cover back in the day and now I'm interested in the bands this guy paints for. I used to think if one could physically enter Seagrave's world's they would be a cool place to visit for a short time. Not this guy's. It must be torment if he's inspired by dreams. Shocked

The rights to use a work of art for reproduction are more often worth much more than the physical painting itself.

Well i based my suggestion on fact that Paolo most doing art for pretty UG bands who released by UG label.. i wouldnt put Seagrave or Verwimp to same league.. and well i dont think that UG bands cannot pay it by themselves, or guy who bad works, but ... if i would cost too much obvious there would be much less clients Wink at least this is what voice of reason says to me

Nice, I had no idea Paolo was doing the cover for their album. EXCELLENT band.
