Yeah that's it's name.

Greek band Tragedy Begins who were in contact with Mayhem since the 80s actually did a cover of it.

I don't find it that impressive, I'm not surprised it didn't make the cut.

Assuming this is correct thats pretty interesting, thanks for sharing. I still think this has been one of the most interesting threads in quite awhile, lots of stuff I never knew is still popping up.

Didn't hear the cover itself, but the opening riff (which later has been used by Emperor) sounds killer. Could be one of the most killer riffs on DMDS

TRAGEDY BEGINS is a great band, under the radar by many. They may not have the best playing skills around but their music is great fucked-up Black-Metal.

I need to spin DMDS and Live in Leipzig, I've kind of lost track of how great their early stuff was.

"Of sodomy and war" sounds about right. Pretty neat to see a cover version even though the song itself wasn't all that! Re the version on the "Ha elm zalag" boot, isn't that recording sourced from that rehearsal video? Don't have the record or a rip lying around to check for sure.

That "Gleisdorf" thing sounds like the Zeitz recording to me.

Hahaha! Bull shit. That fucking lowlife piece of shit is the Greek guy that sells SIGNED Dead posters, signed Burzum records, Mayhem records signed by Euronymous. He's a well known scammer.

Any idea who is doing this Freezing Moon cover? I got the tape in 93 if that helps, this is the only song from the set on the tape.

Here's something proper obscure in this Norwegian newspaper clipping from sometime in the 90's. Check out the picture on the left, is that not Euronymous' cross being worn by what definitely looks like some woman?

(Bonus: Look for the Bulldozer "The day of wrath" and "The final separation" covers behind the candle.)

Who could this be and why would this picture appear in a setting like this and how does this picture make any sense whatsoever? It gets weirder: check out the spots on the top of the skull (replica), then look at this picture:

Looks like the same skull, no? That huge (thigh?) bone also looks like the one supposedly confiscated in Vikernes' house in 1993, though I guess ANY thigh bone would look the same. Any chance this could be an obscure photo from the Helvete shop? Or possibly even weirder, from Vikernes' old penthouse apartment?

Obviously this is all very important stuff that MUST be investigated!
