there are no organs with Down/COC/or Scissorfight.
check out old Hellacopters from Sweden(ex-Entombed)//Blood Rock(classic 70's heavy rock from Texas)//Hangnail(late 90's UK heavy/progreesive rock)// and some notable old classic rock bands like:
Kansas//Swamp Gas// and you cant go wrong with The Allman Brothers and later Grand Funk Railroad!!
there's really way too many bands from the late 60's and 70's to name.
But as far as 90's to current Heavy/Doom Rock bands that use "Organ(s)", theres not many, to my knowledge?
There could be a few Swedish and Italian bands Im missing?
somebody out ther reply and let me/us know what were missing!!!!!!!!

Quite possibly one of my most hated genres of music.
Just cannot fathom it at all. _________________ TOTAL SUPPORT TO BLASPHEMOUS LUST |

I agree awesome band. Very laid back and relaxed. Scissorfight are pretty damn good too. Not too many other newer bands I enjoy in this genre though excluding Clutch who are hands down my favorite currently operating hard rock band.
As much as I like some of the newer bands there really are no older bands from the 70s I like at all. Allman Brothers and Skynard never appealed to me at all. I guess older ZZ Top is the one exception to that. _________________ I was a brazen prince and cold, now a king on an oaken throne |

yeah, just one thing.
if you dont have ZZ TOP's "First Album" on original vinyl, you must get it!!
and NOT CD!
London Records, vinyl, blue center label, 1970/71' cant remember?
classic shit!
the first three ZZ TOP LP's are the BEST!
in my opinion? and the "Live" Fandango LP is quite good too.
most of there 70's vinyl is all worth checkin out and buyin.
fuk it.

the remaster they did on the early ZZ Top albums transferring them to CD imo totally ruined the sound. They replaced the organic and bluesy sound of those old albums with the overdone and sterile sound of their inferior 80s albums, the drums especially sound terrible. Those early albums are considerably superior in their pre-remaster vinyl form I agree. _________________ I was a brazen prince and cold, now a king on an oaken throne |
