Sunday's Chicago date was great. Everything was mixed perfectly and the songs were crushing. I can't believe they played Salvo, Entrenched, and Killchain...my favorite songs from TWL.

Benediction was good too but they overstayed their welcome a bit. They played just as long a set as BT (or so it seemed). I can only put up with so much mediocre slam dm and punk riffs before my patience is up. Couldn't help but wonder if Benediction had played a shorter set, if BT would have gone on longer..ah well

EDIT:

I also wish they would have supported Honour Valour Pride a little more (or at all? I don't think I heard anything from it). That's an underrated BT album.

I agree about Benediction(I really didn't enjoy them much) and HVP. 7th Offensive was always one of my favorites. But I have absolutely no qualms with their set, one of the greatest bands ever and even better live.

I was at both shows, and they both ruled equally. So glad they came through here, and added another night due to demand. The only complaint I can think of is that they didn't play Remembrance on sunday like they did saturday! It was nice to hear In Battle.... Sunday, though. Extra points to Willets for dedicating the show to Wesley Willis each night (the venue has a huuuuge wesley willis portrait on the wall of the main room).

Rock on Chicago!

Quite jealous of all attendees. Sounds like BT killed all.

Austin Set List. "When Glory Beckons" was dedicated to Jeff Hanneman.

Sunday night was killer. Their set was flawless. Benediction ripped, too.

Did they play World Eater as complete or again only the intro and then continued to Cenotaph?

They played the whole song.

Yeah I saw them 3 times and got the whole song each time which made me very happy. The setlist was pretty constant with War Master and Where Next To Conquer interchanged

WTF was that elephant noise at the Oakland Metro during 4th Crusade?

Great show aside from sound problems/no lights at Metro.

Audio for Bolt Thrower's Oakland set can be downloaded here:

It's in FLAC format -- VLC player can handle it, among other things.
