Listening to SGR now and it's savage. I think, for me, the difference was that the first album sounded so alien compared to other BM bands on the go. The element of surprise was lost to a degree with the second album but it is still excellent in its own right.

I think the new Tribulation far surpasses their debut.

Probably, SGR though, sounds as surprising as the debut imo. I don't think there's any older release with this kind of atmosphere.

Can someone describe the difference in sound between the Anja release and the re-issue?

I'm pretty sure it's been remastered?

Anywhere one can buy SGR DLP these days? Preferrably from Europe, but US can do.

Since "Et In..." has been repressed after reaching $100 on Ebay one can hope that SGR will be repressed as well.
It had been available for months though

Unique band.Btw-Does anybody know the story about Nameless Void cooperation with Cultes Des Ghoules on "Henbane"??

He was asked to contribute, so did!

I actually listened to SGR and Henbane in a row and it makes perfect sense! I would never have thought about such a connexion but it is quite obvious once you realize it. Great minds think alike, 2 of the most interesting and unique recent BM entities undoubtedly

A split between the 2 bands would be great...

What did NV do on Henbane? Vox? Have yet to pick it up.

Pianos on the final track, if I'm not mistaken.

Vinyl repress will be done shortly by Invictus & Ajna. Exactly like the first press. No chances/alterations/additions.

Good you never disappoint. Wink Any ETA on the re-press? (Same goes for the Tribulation re-press).

I feel fairly comfortable with calling Negative Plane the best USBM band. Or at least, very high up on the totem pole.
