+1, first two albums are just over flowing with great riffs, gritty vocals and just sheer amount of testicular fortitude.

Also, I struggle to think of a recent (late 2000's) heavy metal release that has more balls than this album:

Whole album is incredible, Sean Peck has shrills that haunt you while still maintaining a good low-end below, catchy riffs, killer solos, and for once it has a somewhat 'modern' sound that I think actually works for trad/power.

There's so much great old Heavy Metal it's impossible to know where to start, so I won't. Instead I'll praise the latest release from HELL - Human Remains. It's most likely the best modern Heavy Metal album I've heard the last 10 years.

On the subject of last 10 years, check out Metal Inquisitor's Doomsday for the heretic and Unconditional Absolution. Highly HIGHLY recommended
