STAINED CLASS is the epitome for me...SAD WINGS and SCREAMING FOR VENEGEANCE a close tie for second...I have a soft spot for BRITISH STEEL since it is associated with many memories....grew up listening to them...killer band...that said: please stop recording new material....

70's Priest is heavy metal at its finest. I would pick the early albums over classic Sabbath, Maiden, any day of the week.

Been listening to Unleashed in the East all day today, never gets old.

Yup. Exactly this for me as well. 70's Priest is probably the best band ever.
Hard to choose a favorite but if I had to, I'd probably go with Stained Class.

Later Priest have some cool albums here and there, but honestly I can't really listen to them without coming back to Unleashed, Sad Wings.., Stained Class, Sin After Sin and Rocka Rolla.

So many great albums they put out its hard to pick a favorite.

Their 70's albums were heavy metal mastery that will never be touched..

Stained Class has amazing songs, but i don't really care for Halford's vocal sound on that album.

Sad Wings for me as well. Tyrant is without a doubt one of the best heavy metal songs ever recorded.

Of course someone voted for Point of Entry. I don't think it deserves the bad rap it gets but c'mon.

"Heading Out To the Highway", "Desert Plains" and "Hot Rockin" are all classic Priest tunes...but the majority of that album ranges from OK to awful. "Don't Go" and "You Say Yes" are both pure garbage IMO.

Indeed, I often put it on just for the three songs you mentioned.

Defenders of the Faith and Stained Class.

Their lowest point was 'Rock You All Around the World' from Turbo, one of the worst songs ever created.

I never heard "Turbo" except for a couple songs but the song "Red, White And Blue" off of the "British Steel" reissue is God awful!

I agree "Red, White And Blue" is awful & it was written during the Turbo sessions haha, it's weird they put it on British Steel.
