Retarded? Because you're under 25 ? I mean I like a lot of bands from this area.Lot's of folks already mentioned many formations so I decided not to invent the wheel.

"you must be 5 years old fucking poser, i'm order than you so Fuck off you faggot".

Everyone is tired of that attitude. Stop acting big on the internet.

But 13-29 y.o kids know NOTHING about metal. They just listen a few soconds on every Thrash Metal/Heavy Metal/Power Metal/Black Metal from 80s on Youtube and think they KNOW EVERYTHING and can discuss about these bands. So FUCK OF to these kids.

13-29? Hope you realize that the most legendary bands were formed in that age. So stop being a douche.

That's a quite wide definition of "kids".

Can only speak for myself, but with the age of ca. 20 years my main musical background was more or less consolidated. No bigger changes ever since in the inner core.

Of course you're still a stupid asshole per se in this age, but as we didn't have internet back then, it's luckily not documented anywhere in the web and the last twitches of our puberty were lived out with other activities.

True, but just keep in mind that in no way we can compare the situation of the 80ies & 90ies with the years after 2000. And most of those "legendary bands" also talked bullshit in their early days, to some degree. Just read/watch old interviews of Destruction, Celtic Frost, Metallica, Slayer etc., there you have it. Difference was this was still a NEW movement, no veterans and open bazar like today.

It's nothing mutually exclusive, in short.

Know Your Enemy and Annihilation Principle are great. Those guys had a nice sense of melody from their trad metal roots of the first two albums.

I wonder how long before Lunaboy gets the axe?

Honestly, there's some people, like myself, who've been around for 20 years, are past your arbitrary age range, who legitimately don't like some stuff that you feel that we ought to. I don't understand your push to force everyone into this neat little box you've created for yourself as far as what is acceptable and what isn't.

I could care less how classic Metallica or whatever is, I just don't like it. His vocals annoy me, and there's other stuff I could be listening to. Same goes for Death Angel, Heathen, Exodus, Testament, etc. It's just not for me.

Laaz Rockit got a lot of airplay back in the late 1980's on a.m. radio as we had a local metal station called The Krusher. The station mainly featured Most Dangerous Game......

Things that I remember about Laaz Rockit from 20 years ago:

-They sounded like Exodus
-They covered Holiday in Cambodia
-Their mascot looked like Guile from Street Fighter II

I don't dare youtube anything. It's wrong.

Their song Leatherface for The Texs Chainsaw Massacre 3 was fucking awesome though.

What happened to your Watain avatar? You didn't by any chance remove it because people made fun of it and your obvious try-hardism, did you?

It's always nice to make new friends on the internet. That was referencing that lunaboy guy's bashing of the use of the internet to check out music. Drunk posting is not my forte'.

Pretty decent. It still kind of sounds like Exodus to me. The Dk's cover is surprisingly great.

I'll take Nuclear Assault, Overkill, Exodus, Anthrax, Whiplash, MOD, Ludichrist, Lethal Agression and The Crumbsuckers over a good chunk of Bay Area stuff any day though.
