Call me a bit of a false but I'm just really getting to this record now - and it's pretty fucking amazing. It sounds excellent, and that it's just bass and drums is pretty incredible.
I don't know what I was expecting, but I assumed from the descriptions it would be sludge/drone when in fact it's got way more in common with funeral doom a la Mournful Congregation, but with enough of a unique twist to make it stand out.
Definitely a sleeper doom album for me, I really haven't heard much lately that's really interested me but this is a welcome change from that. |

Yeah but it hasn't arrived yet. I ordered from Profound Lore which is in the same city so I'm expecting it tomorrow or the next day. I'm expecting it to look and sound awesome. |

They were on tour with Graves at Sea, Meth Drinker & Samothrace. Unfortunately I missed them. Samothrace was good though, I think they have the bass player of Bell Witch. |

I really like this. Demo was great too. Find myself listening to either one of them a couple times a week still. Good stuff. I too had expected just a average doom band at first, but was pleasantly surprised upon hearing it. Reminds me of Asunder a lot. |

I picked up this record on supercompressed mp3. It still sounds great. I'm also missing a couple of tracks. Being broke is awesome. |

I'm medium-surprised that the vinyl of this is still available. This came out a year ago now?

I was curious if this was any good. Based on the comparisons, I will give this a listen. |

Highly recommended band! "I wait" is one of the best doom songs i've heard in years. |

This record needs to be out there more. One of the few Seattle bands I really like, and in my top 10 of last year. Their use of melody is unlike anyone else. Sounds like monastic doom. _________________

don't forget about the highly successful use of the vincent price samples. if you havent seen it already, 'masque of the red death' is an excellent corman film. |

Great flick, and great use of the sample. I am loving this record, I've been playing it non stop. What kind of effects does this awesome bass dude use? I can't believe it's just two people..... |
