Expect Ulver to serve their recent shit sandwiches, followed by a bored audience followed by Facebook white knights whining about the audience "not getting" or appreciating it.

Does anyone know if any of these bands are headliners? What is this headliner announcement that they claimed to have been working on? I fail to see Ulver as being that interesting but maybe that's what it was...

They claimed today's announcement contains two co-headliners for one of the four nights, but did not label any as such. If I were to curate a festival, Candlemass and Ulver make more than worthy co-headliners.

Seeing Ulver live would be interesting. Does the band still still hate their black metal material?

Wow. Co-headliners only so far then...which is, I suppose, a headliner but still.

I think that was a reference to the comments in Lords of Chaos by ex-members...

But yeah, Ulver doesn't do the bm-material live. It's a bit pointless to book them on a metal festival.

Tankard is great live, as is Candlemass.

I have a feeling Ulver will make you wish Coroner was playing Grin in its entirety instead.

^ I don't get why they don't just do a US tour. Even without Marcollin or the guy from Jonathan they'd still be fucking incredible to see live.

I don't know about other places but when they played Seattle in 2008 there were about 50 people at a weeknight show. If that was the norm I wouldn't want to tour here again. I was glad they played here, them probably not so much.

Edit: I was referring to Candlemass, sorry for the misquote!

On MDF's website, it says its Ulvers debut in the USA. Ha!
