Soluzen - legendary German zine from mid 90-ies, which was done by NIHIL NOCTURNE guys.

Can anyone confirm how many issues have been published in total? I know that at least 4 issues have been published, but I am confused as to whether issue #5 has ever been completed and published or not. Various internet pages mention the fifth issue, but no information is available on its contents, year of publishing, etc. It seems that no one has ever seen or read issue #5.

Any authentic tips or leads would be appreciated. Thanks.

The fifth and final issue of Soluzen was published in 1997. No idea about its contents.

There were interviews with Goat of Mendes, Nagelfar, Graveland, Ancient, Bal Sagoth, The Gathering, Atanatos, Godgory, Dismal Euphony, 3rd and the Mortal...an article about runes and an article about the history of Black Metal (in terms of occult or satanic Rock/Metal, not about Mayhem and so on).

But...was this final issue really released in '97? I'm pretty sure there were some reviews of 1998 releases...
Hmm, as far as I remember, there was a quite huge delay concerning the release...

Igor, is this you? Hi there! I've always been curious about the fifth issue of Soluzen as well because, just like you, I've never come across a copy despite the fact that I was familiar with the zine and a regular reader back in the days, which is why said fifth issue kind of felt like a zine myth or something, hahaha. Long story short, I managed to find a copy now and it's in the post as we speak. I'll scan it when it's in my hands, and you'll find a link to download it in the respective topic for scanned zines when it's done if there's still interest.

Yes, Steffen – it is me indeed! Greetings to you as well! Thank you very much for your very kind offer, as always – HUGELY appreciated! It would be fantastic to have Soluzen #5 scan. However, if my understanding is correct, issue #5 is entirely in German language, isn’t it? Well, I must admit that my German is quite rusty – I can maintain a primitive chat, but comprehensive reading of entire zines is still a big challenge. In any case – who dares wins, so yes, the scan would be most appreciated.

And since we are on Soluzen topic, did you ever come across issues #1 and #2? If so, could you confirm if those were in German or in English? Thank you in advance. Cheers!

This somehow rang a bell and I ran to the cellar to check an old box full of zines. Turns out I have number 4 and 5. I remember I never really liked their style especially not in German.
Would trade them, just send a pm.
(I also found Nordic Vision 7, 9 & 10 and Deprieved 3 - if anyone is interested)
