Comparison...

The old version of "Asgard..." is a form of fighting with a musket.

The new version of "Asgard..." is more to fighting with 12-gauge shotgun.

It's nice that it was remixed/remastered so we can indulge in both. I prefer the shotgun over the musket.

Yeah, the remastered version sounds leagues better but I've come to love the original as is, so I go back to it periodically; having said that, the remaster is the go-to now. The bass in "Crux Gammata" is killer.

It is glorious. Thanks.

When comes the Sektemtum split? Is there more of Ad Absurdum?

Surprised to see so many people voting for Facta Loquuntur. That album genuinely sounds like sloppy shit (for the most part).

My personal favourites — in no particular order — would be Raubritter, Totenlieder, and Weltenfeind (most likely one of my favourite splits ever).

That would be it. I still need to check the remaster of Asgardsrei.

What kind of poll is this? You know there's tons of people out there who only listen to the old material. So why is Thuringian Pagan Madness and the original Facta Loquuntur not included?

I can't decide but I think I like Sonnenritter the most right now.

Who produced the art for Asgardsrei (the Viking one)? Killer fucking art work, killer fucking music!

Facta Loquuntur for me even though as the band would evolve it may seem a little amateurish. I love the raw emotion in songs like Mourning Soul and Gates of Heaven, its punkish and raw but the melodic guitarwork on Blutgericht and Totenlieder are not to be ignored.

Blutgericht is a personnal favorite for Der Henker especially. Hateful as it can get !

1- Blutgericht
2- Facta Loquuntur
3- Asgarsdrei
4- ...

Everything is good, it's only preference.

Voted Weltenfeind because I bought it for the Sigrblot tracks and Absurd just wiped the floor with the other bands.
"Wir sind der Werwolforden!" Fucking epic!

Appreciate the link. Its nice that the band got to go back and do what they wanted with the recordings, but I think the original one sounds way better.
