twist and shout and wax trax are pretty good, but can be pretty hit or miss as far as metal goes. i highly recommend you make a trip out to black and read in arvada. they have a great metal section, you can usually find some great classic gems there. last time i was there they had shitloads of sealed earache tapes for 3 bucks a piece. that was a while ago though...

I second Black and Read. Tons of good CDs, both new and used. I've purchased many hard-to-find gems from there over the years.

Last time I was in town I went to the Trve Brewery. Amazing beer and a cool place to hang out as well. http://trvebrewing.com/

There are plenty of other decent bars and restaurants in that general area as well.
