Headed there for the Ride for Revenge/Bizarre Uproar gig. What're the important sights/record shops/local foods/etc.? I know about the KVLT shop already. Any other metal/noise gigs going on then? _________________

If you're into movies you should check out a store called ''Pieni leffakauppa'' in the Kallio district. They have a good selection of horror films etc. The area also has a few decent second hand shops where you might make some nice finds.

This place is usually worth a visit, for example. |

Don't know if you're interested, but there's the Hell / Carcass (/ Amon Amarth...) show in the evening of 9th.
Suomenlinna is a cool place to visit too. |

And really nearby: http://www.hippieshakerecords.com/
Same street as Pieni Leffakauppa: http://www.fireinsidemusic.com/shop/
Also you should go drinking to Kallio area at the independence day. |

If you're into military, Varusteleka is a shop worth visiting - you can get there with a bus from the city centre.

If you find something on their website but don't see it in the shop, ask for it, many items are hidden in the warehouse.
And if the weather is nice, go to Nuuksion Kansallispuisto - take a train or bus to Espoo and then a bus to the park.
