Nice!

Yeah the records will be in the USA store.

About the poster - wow that got put on the backburner, thanks for the reminder, will talk to Perturbator about it.

The first two albums will come out on vinyl and CD (as well as the EPs too).

Mainly just waiting on art to be finished for those.

We talked to 3-4 more projects that we like in this style, and the impression we got was that none of them wanted to be on a real label. Shame, actually.

Perturbator was the only one we spoke to that seemed to grasp the full concept, and he's really pleased about the whole thing. So it seems weird. But, that's just how it is.

We wrote him first anyway because he's our favorite of the entire scene, so it's not a big loss. But there are a few other cool artists in there.

I don't know. The currently hot retrowave thing is getting so abundant it's hard to keep up with all the projects and digital releases. All I know is that a lot of it is dirt cheap stuff and I would not just go around putting everything on CD and vinyl, but instead carefully handpick the worthy ones and give them a proper treatment. I trust Blood Music will do just this. The new Perturbator album set a pretty good standard and anything that gets a physical release should maintain that standard.

Power Glove would fit that standard pretty nicely, hint hint.

agreed, there is a ton of it, a lot of it crap; but the comp I cited is regarded as a genre stalwart
the powerglove track on it is amongst the best in the entire genre IMO

Agreed as well. It's cool when you're listening to the first few, but when you realize 100 people are doing it now, it's better to just focus on the best ones.

Power Glove was one of the ones we spoke to. They were open to collab but are working on something else at the moment, so they said in the future it could be possible.

All the rest (some bigger names in the scene, some smaller) basically sounded like they wanted us to pay for everything but didn't want any of the other parts of working with a label or even to discuss them - which is kinda strange because it usually involves not only getting things paid but a ton of extra help in other ways (tangible and intangible) and someone to manage half their affairs and lots of extra publicity. So, you would think if they got all that and also earned extra money doing it, they would be open to it, but nope.

Seems like they probably all had nightmares over all the possible negative scenarios that could happen when signing to a label, but us and Perturbator are totally chill and happy with everything, so to each their own.

DO NOT forget to include the Poster "SATAN IS A COMPUTER" in the Vinyl re-press. Wink
Good news to hear that the 2 first Full-Lengths will come out in Vinyl.

And also that the EPs will also get a vinyl treatment.
Will you collect all the EP's and Split material together, or will be released separately? Question

Hi!

We're still working out those details as art is being worked on. Smile

Besides the "Dangerous Days" repress, the other stuff won't come out til next year, but we hope to get at least some of it out early in the year.

We've decided to print the Satan Is A Computer poster, but it likely will be available separately from the vinyl. We got caught in a dilemma, since the poster wasn't finished until it was too late to put in the first press and don't want to make the first press "inferior" to the second press by including extra bonuses, otherwise we fear that first-press supporters will feel ripped off.

So, the poster will be available separately. Smile

Coming for pre-order next Wednesday, limited run of "Dangerous Days" on Glow-in-the-Dark red vinyl. Please note - this pressing will be more expensive than normal, as the head of vinyl production at the factory told us he's only ever seen one other label do this (a very major one). It's a specially mixed dye just for us pressed onto virgin vinyl and not the cheap plasticky Glow-in-the-Dark stuff.

Hope it sounds okay. The Mars Volta did glow in the dark vinyl and I've heard that it's pretty much shit

See above - it's pressed on virgin vinyl and should be like any other colored pressing in theory.

Most glow in the dark is pressed on very cheap plastic.

That's why this one is costly, they have to mix the dye just for us, and it's almost never been done before.
