|

I am aware old live video footage of VON exists. Just based on the live photos from the various versions of the "Satanic Blood Angel" release, they put on an incredibly BLACK and intense show. Any possibility this footage could be released by NWN! on DVD? |

NWN or whoever, a Von live DVD would be insane
On that note, Archgoat should have a decent collection of live footage now since their comeback. (Yeah yeah I'm aware of the video disc that came with the album). |

I saw ARCHGOAT live earlier in the year at the Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child Fest in San Antonio and they were killer, but I imagine VON's live performance being on another level.
I remember hearing VON opened for CANNIBAL CORPSE years ago and even George Corpsegrinder admitted VON completely blew them off the stage. |

Damn. Any particular reason why? Just per the band's request? It seems like VON was in their prime live (also according to what was stated in the interview you conducted with VON).
Anyhow, perhaps you can satiate our hunger by describing the shows from the video you witnessed? |

thats weird, i think corpsegrinder joined cc in 1995 or something, von should have already disbanded by that time? |

No, you're right. Good point and excellent catch. Maybe what I heard was bullshit? Although now I wonder who VON actually did play with live? |

Yeah, possibly. I was also told Goat aka Von gave the CANNIBAL CORPSE guitarist (must have been Jack Owen at the time) a booklet of his drawings and artwork after the show, so I think VON did play with CANNIBAL CORPSE. |

A quest so epic it would be worthy of a movie! |
