| I like their older stuff much better. This album had way too much of an epic viking metal feel to it as far as I'm concerned. |

Has this been released by the band? Don't take me wrong but looking at the result it would have been worthier if NWN would have released it as it was originally announced. The difference would speak for itself.
I'm not that fond of the music on this new release, it's a pity that a band like Zemial with a very unique identity on their early days is following such an uninspired path lately. |

Regarding a regular vinyl version here is what Vorskaath wrote me:
"Though I do plan on releasing the album in a LIMITED gatefold edition with black vinyl sometime in the future, I still have no date set for that project and besides, I have done my very best to ensure that the sound quality of the Picture LP is above average for the discerning audiophiles." |

the first couple times i heard this i was disappointed but after a few listens i think its one of the best albums ever done in this style. it rivals hammerheart for sure. of course its supposed to be hammerheart/twilight era bathory worship. i think they do that style on this album better than just about anyone else.
one of the most epic albums made in recent years.
great music for jogging to also. |
