Tape got cancelled. A 7"ep and MCD got recorded this weekend, and it sounds brilliant, of course. Ep contains two songs Kaos played live a few times. MCD will contain the same songs + two bonus tracks.
Concider these releases some sort of a demontration of whats to come.

Is there a story behind the name?

The MOrketid Comp is one of the best if not the best BM comp ever. Hoest did a good job on it, I never get tired to listen to it.
The other Helheim demos are pretty good, too.

There was at least another interview published in a German zine, I am sure Steffen can fill you in on the details as I forgot the zine´s name (started with C... possibly?) and I don´t think I have a copy anywhere anyway.

I guess you think of the fourth issue of Soluzen. Well, that's the only T.O.V. interview I know of besides the mentioned one in Valkyrjens Fugler. I'm pretty sure I still have that very issue somewhere. Will look it up and scan the T.O.V. interview for you, Jouni. Or I post it right here if others are interested as well.

So here goes, that interview with Tenèbras Omnia Vincit in the fourth issue of Soluzen, published in 1996. Jouni, if you need a higher resolution, just let me know.

That was exactly the one I meant, I remember the "I won´t stick my tongue into Gylve´s ass..." line, hehe.

If a band is known by anyone, then it is not unknown.

I'm not that big with words when it comes to describing music and so I can just say that I've always preferred "Hecate" over what those guys did with Carpathian Full Moon later on. The overall amosphere is just crispier, if that makes any sense. Really love the sludgy guitar tone on this one. No idea if the shown copy is an original one though as I haven't had anything else but a dub myself.

I was going through some dubbed tapes with demo recordings and several rehearsal tracks right before and stumbled across a couple of bands I haven't heard of yet, neither did a quick search on the net come up with any more infos. So, is one of you familiar with the following bands and can tell me more about 'em? Any other releases than the ones listed I could take a listen to already?

ISKALDE VINDER (Nor) Sorgens Strid Demo '95
SVARTE TRONER (Nor) Rehearsal Track '95
I SKYGGENE (Nor) Demo '94
GRIPPING MOON (Swe) Rehearsal '93

Good to know that the Impure Creations demo is a bootleg, I didn't know about that. I thought it was an official release.

Here's a bump due to my longing to get to know more about Iskalde Vinder from Norway. The dub I have is of their '95 demo "Sorgens Strid" and lists three untitled tracks. The demo starts off with harsh almost frantic black metal, crowned by a voice which pierces marrow and bone whereas the second track shows an acoustic, somewhat folksy side of Iskalde Vinder while the last track is a mid-tempo rammer which reminds me a bit of demo-era Kampfar. These recordings are really mesmerising and I find myself playing them over and over and over again and it'd be great if one of you could fill me in about this band. Where was this outfit hailing from Norway? Do the tracks of this demo actually have titles? Are there any other recordings by Iskalde Vinder? Are there interviews in some old zines?

Thank you!

Fucking GREAT last name on the dude from Tenèbras etc. One of the best last names in Norway, sadly rarely seen! Also this band must be the only black metal band from Manglerud I've ever heard of.

Thanks Steffen for the scan!
Never heard of the bands you mentioned = more digging to do.
I'll have to return to this thread once I have found out something.
