None so-far that capture the rawness of that first album, which is what I'm after.

if you made von light years sloppier and crappier with way worse recording quality, you'd have ildjarn.

you can just insert no disc in your stereo and put it to maximum volume. You'll have the same amount of primitive noise then. Wink

yeah, many of his stuff are really not that good... he developed that cool formula but sometimes his songwriting is a little questionable. i enjoy the bands like bone awl or ancestors more than some of his materials.

Second one for this, when other "sounds like ildjarn" bands just do the distrotion thing with tracker, OTOH do actually have obscure riffs and playing reminding of Ildjarn.

No, but there's a fair number of influences shared as well.

Discharge and Oi, most predominantly.
