| This may be old news to Europeans, but a friend of mine just got back from Sweden and brought me a copy of Swedish Death Metal the book. Fucking great book! Totally exhaustive historyof the scene with great anecdotes, photos and flyers. Glossy pages and nice print... they did a great job. It goes right up the present and has interviews with Repugnant and others and has a monstrous index of Swedish DM bands with discographies. Highly recommended! Just thought I'd spread the word in case any Swedish DM nuts havent heard about this book for some reason. |

The book is fucking amazing, and well worth the asking price. If the price seems steep, it's mostly because Swedish postage prices are a BITCH. The book is heavy as hell, printed on great quality paper, etc etc... Highly recommended!

As I have mentioned on other forums- it's the best music related book I have ever read. Attention to detail is awesome (there's even a list of what zines were out in the back), loads of great stories and full of photos and pictures of old flyers. Definately worth buying.
Sure it costs a lot- but I'm sure everyone is prepared to pay more than that for a record now and again. |

I agree, this book is mandatory. After the shitty/utterly disappointing Choosing Death, it's good to have a great detailed book about death metal written by someone who lived that shit first hand. Thumbs up, and worth every cent. |

Definitely good reading! Got mine a few days ago and just started really reading it last night. Bought it direct from Daniel. I think his email add is tamarapress@gmail.com.
Very heavy book is the word but well worth its price in weight |
