Maybe I missed it somewhere, but are there any plans for a DVD of the show? Perhaps some live LP's/Splits ??

A decent quality audio/visual representation of that fest would be a must own.

Anyone know?

the sound quality wasn't very good, so a live LP would be a waste.

Just because the sound was shit out of the speakers doesnt mean a soundboard recording cant be good. Well see if recordings show up....

The high light of the fest IMO.....so tight and you could really tell how much the guys were enjoying themselves!!!
The Bolt Thrower (World Eater) cover didn't hurt either Twisted Evil

Approx. row 10 litte right, and yes, it was really really a good ignovomised cover which didn't hurt Wink
They played it a bit of their own style which I prefer on cover versions.

So it seems that Ignivomous was impressive.... who else made an impression on you? Surely there was more than one highlight !?

Midnight? Revenge? Ares Kingdom? Embrace of Thorns??

Hellias seemed to play some good Thrash, but honestly, at the beginning of the 2 days show, I wasn't in mood to listen to that kind of music.

Bands that made an impression : Midnight (excellent show, and far better sound than on the Complete and Fucking Midnight CD), Nocturnal Graves (loud raw bass sound that transformed a bit the band to me, but how killer !), Black Witchery (kind of re-discovered the band, they are great on live) and Blasphemophagher (already seen them but they blasted away my memories). Revenge was really impressive, but after 2 days of destruction I was so exhausted I didn't appreciate it until the end.

best gigs IMO:

1) Ignivomous - without a doubt!!!
2) Dead Congregation (not the best sound though)
3) Nocturnal Graves

half of the Embrace of Thorns gig (mainly into the newer songs - which also seemed like the most rehearsed part of their performance)

Revenge - could have done without a great deal of the crowd though Rolling Eyes

Midnight - positively suprised - they really managed to reach out to the crowd

The sound wasn't that bad, just guitars were a little quiet overall. Ares Kingdom really blew me away, not to mention Ignivomous, Proclamation, Revenge, BW, and Dead Congregation playing a brand new song that was totally twisted..

...and as already stated, Dead Congregation, Revenge and Ignivimous were all excellent live and I am surprised not many people mentioning PROCLAMATION who were very brutal and had heavy and pounding, punishing sound!

Embrace of thorns was also great ; very heavy and dark !
