Only happened to me once by red rings. It wasn't all that well-ventilated though and possibly overheated. Was yours properly ventilated and did you play it for like 230948243 hours on end?

I'm mostly excited to see Septic Flesh after all these years. The last record I heard from them was The Ophidian Wheel, but I love everything up to and including it. I know virtually nothing of them after that record, and I hope they are still good because the new logo and cover art seems to look really shitty.

I'm not surprised at the line up. Both bands ceased to be underground a long time ago. They're as popular as Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth. Makes sense to stick them together.

Blah, blah underground, blah, blah mainstream, blah blah.

Wake up. In this day and age of Myspace, there is no underground and with the already mentioned video games and such, Black Metal is now a house hold name. With that, you can only judge a band on their sincerity, not how large their fanbase is or what tours they decide to take.

I don't care if Shining was co-headlining with Blasphemy or playing MSG with Metallica, they blow either way, so what they do is irrelevant. I don't give a decaying rat's ass about Behemoth either, but if they can use their "fame" or whatever you wish to call it to get good bands out on the road, then great!

Septic Flesh was here last year I think with Satyricon and Cradle of Filth if I remember correctly. They were not so good. I clearly recall these clean vox over one song and no one on stage actually singing. Laughing
I think they are certainly trying to find their way into a more mainstream acceptance as well.

Behemoth is alright. I like the albums still. There is no kvlt or occult feeling to this music, however for modern based death metal in the mainstream popularity market they are probably one of the few that are somewhat interesting. Demigod was a great album, what can I say. Embarassed

Shining... well, I've liked the current musical output from this act. I'm embarassed of the rest of the nonsense that follows it though, all centered around that jackass singer though. Seems he is trying to impart male on male kissing as a acceptable practice as well from the photo I seen in the last Zero Tolerance magazine I bought. If that's the new direction of the musical message this clown is endorsing I'm off that train. His fake suicide and departure from the band was funny I guess, his new whiny and flaky personna is way too emo in my opinion.

Perhaps, and good for those that tread that path I suppose.

I'll stick to chicks and be that less dangerous I guess.

For those who might be interested:

"Shining - Drop Off Behemoth's Evangelia Amerika Tour

Swedish extreme metallers Shining have dropped off the upcoming "Evangelia Amerika" tour alongside Behemoth and Septicflesh, due to work visa issues. Lightning Swords Of Death, who had previously been added to three of the tour dates, will now be taking Shining's place for the duration of the tour."

Also the NY date shows as Cancelled, not sure if the whole tour is or just the venue.

Woe is playing the Philly show; really looking forward to seeing them more so than Behemoth or Shining.
