Yeah I think we'll do a 10" next time. Doing 12" EPs is getting too expensive. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

6 persons with me. |
Make it 7! The "Return to Dust" album is pretty killer. It took a few spins to really grab me, but I love it now. |
yeah... i think ak takes a few listens to soak in...i htink a lot of people just dont give records a chance for multiple listens sometimes...its difficult too because with so much shit always coming out its hard to keep up and actually listen to a record like return to dust enough to get the full impact of it...but fuck even on the first listen you know theres something meritorious about it... |

Excatly, that's the way I feel it. Ares Kingdom (as happened with OFC) have got a small circle of die hard supporters that have been caught under their charm of genuine Metal. It's impossible (once you're into it) to get rid off of their energy, it's something hard to explain but it's the same feeling with OFC.
On the other hand I've a difficult time trying to understand why people don't get along with the AK music on a more easy way than with OFC. Both bands are complex in their musical expression but OFC were twisted and noisy (in the good term), very harsh material for an untrained listener while Ares Kingdom have got melody, catchy riffs and avobe all, quality and songs.
Maybe that's the problem, that they're a band with highest standars of quality and composition and this fucking scene is more aware of just collecting and supporting lame bands with the most evil image on Earth. The worst of all this is that I sincerly doubt that I'll ever have the chance of seeing they playing live. |

| also both ofc and ares kingdom are impossible to easily categorize...neither band falls squarely into a metal sub genre and this tends to make people less likely to pay attention...of course music that defies simple classification is often the greatest and most important. |

Yes, they don't fit in just one Metal category since their music is a Metal entity on their own (I mean on both cases). Another thing that I always have considered breathtaking about OFC is the fact that if you listen to their demo stuff you realize how at a very early stage, they managed to shape the basis of their sound, the truth is that their style was shaprly defined since their very first steps. |

I just got them and added them to the site. I'll add photos of everything in an hour. I need to eat dinner first. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

| I need more from that band, it's too fucking amazing. I bought the CD version of "Return to dust" so now I can even play it in my bathroom, haha. Does anyone know if they're already working on a new album? |

Chuck told me last week that the second album is "mapped out" and ready to pieced together. They will record in mid to late 2008. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

They are also compiling all B side tracks for a compilation CD. It will also include the Chaosmongers Alive 7" tracks. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.
