Speaking of irreverent, that zine fits your book.
Also Gallery of the Grotesque, Canadian Assault, Whereismyskin are irreverent and outrageous.
Many of the zines mentioned here are good and great, but to me, only a few have this outrageous thing. Many are simply "Metal", but they don't smell sulphur enough... |

I've just thought of BLACK PLAGUE from Thailand.
A good A5 zine, the second issue (currently available) features some hordes such as PROCLAMATION, TEITANBLOOD, SURRENDER OF DIVINITY, EMBRACE OF THORNS, PROFANATICA,...
Oh, and the guy behind this zine is also releasing some great stuff, lately the EMBRACE OF THORNS "...For I see death..." tape, I strongly advise everybody to check this band out ! |

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this one already, as I didn't have the time to read all previous posts, BUT
A good friend of mine has his own 'zine under the name of METAL STORM 'zine!
VOL. 2 was just released and it contains some KILLER interviews with DESTRUCTION, AT WAR, WITCHTRAP, INFINITUM OBSCURE, BESTIAL WARLUST, NOCTURNAL & others! It's over 100 pages long and it also includes a quick recap of the Los Angeles scene; reviews from past shows and info on some of the local bands out here.

| About HORRIBLE EYES -- does anyone have a current, working email address for the guy who does it? I had one that ends with web.de, but that one no longer works... or maybe someone can suggest a distro that carries the zine? |
