| another vinyl edition of DDtM?! And I don't see the point with repressing tOoBB either, the band always expressed extreme hostility towards it. |

especially as Spinefarm already re-pressed DDtM one year ago. Easy $$$ I guess..., see the "bad" result of the Beherit - Beast Of... repress compared to the original Spinefarm release of this 2-LP. |

Not so hostile, two years ago when I talked to Marko...
I'm not sure but I've heard of a Picture LP version.
What's the label's URL ?
Thx. _________________

| They did a really good job with the "Beast of Beherit"-reissue, so I think it's great that they're reissuing DDTM and OOBB. |

I support represses on vinyl. All good albums should be readily available on vinyl format if there's demand for it. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

Does it make sense considering that Iron Pegasus released a total cult picture disc version of DDTM? Oh, yes, I forgot that IP pressed this with different artwork and there's the urge and the necessity of unleashing it with the original layout. Not to mention to make some extra cash. |

Again, there is demand so the label is repressing it.
There are countless represses of the CDs as well. I would much rather see vinyl represses than CDs. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

I certainly could agree with you at a certain point but, who is demanding it? Are really so many new (or even old) vinyl lovers out there who hasn't been able to get any of the three vinyl versions existing or there's the collector's completist factor which is playing a main role here? |

| Both I think. Even though I'm lucky enough to have all the originals I constantly see for insane prices, I would still buy a reissue if that is made well and fits the standards that are set today for vinyl reissues. |

Well, there is at least one label-boss out there that want to see both first albums on Picture Disc, with original cover-artwork, inside a jacket and the die hard with shirt, button, A1 poster, etc.
No, seriously - it can be a cool release. I myself do not see the urge to have a normal black edition again and again, but cool Picture Disc Versions of both albums are missed (not to say the original black ones and the one Costa has made aren't great at all).
In the end, there's just one conclusion: buy it or buy something else... _________________
