I don't understand why people seems not to like Killing Machine. For me it is just as great as all 70's Judas Priest albums. Sad Wings is their absolutely best album in my opinion. Listen to "Tyrant", "The Ripper" or "Island of Domination"!

I´ll worship Priest to the death. 70´s as well as 80's...

There are good stuff on every album they released in the 70's, but Sad Wings, Sin After Sin and Stained Class are unbeatable.

they never really nailed the sound until Unleashed, which I almost always listen to when I feel like listening to Priest. It's simply everything they made in the 70s perfected.

Totally agree! "Unleashed" is by far my favorite Priest album.

I love that OBI on "Sad Wings Of Destiny", that set you back much?
PS No matter how many times I see this photo I never tire of it. Very Happy

Collection worthy of any headbanger's envy.

Stained Class is my favorite, followed by Sad Wings and Sin After Sin.

And I know it's about the 70's era, but Defenders Of The Faith is such a killer album, it's right up there with the first few albums for me.

It's clearly more commercial that the first four albums despite having a lot of killer stuff. It just lacks that certain magic.

Sad Wings is probably my favorite album ever, but all 70's albums beginning with an "S" are among the finest heavy metal albums ever created. The debut rocks as well.

Sad Wings Of Destiny and Unleashed In The East would be the ones. I'm not particularly fond of Hell Bent either, too poppy and light. No 80s Priest for me, too cheap and boring.

Such a great riff.

The Ripper has always been one of my favorite Priest songs though. I really seem to waffle between my favorite album. Sad Wings and Stained Class are the ones that I tend to listen to the most. I think Rocka Rolla doesn't get enough attention.
