Might I recommend Templeton Rye Whiskey. Distilled in Iowa.

I had the Old Chub and that was pretty good. I'll definitely have to check out more of their beers.

I'm pretty stoked on killer beers showing up in cans. Backpacking just got a lot more comfortable.

I agree. It's nice to dispel the myth that just because a beer comes in a can doesn't mean it has to be low quality. Lots of good Chicago breweries use a can over bottle such as Half Acre, Revolution, Finch's as well as other national and local places. I'm still a big fan of bottled beer though.

Just though of this but do any craft breweries offer tall boys? the Canned equivalent of a bomber?

Sierra Nevada Torpedo is in a slightly larger can. Probably something closer to an Imperial Pint. Not quite a tallboy in the traditional/malt liquor sense though.

Tallgrass Brewing from Kansas only uses the pint cans. theyre one of my favorite breweries right now and lately ive prefered cans over anything else, especially when it comes to IPA's.
