These mixes may reveal killer even if they'll kill your taste.

Tonight a great Douro wine with the meal: http://winedouro.com/fr/esteveira2012rb/.

Just charged the mega-tincture:

Jays Peach Ghost Scorpion (Bhut Jolokia X Trinidad Scorpion) + The Pain (Trinidad Douglah X Pimenta da Neyde) + Ecuadorian Red Pepper for Hell (rocoto)

+

50° selected wine distillate (Chardonnay + Aligote & Bianca), 0.5L

=

Fucking Hell in 1...2...3 months! Twisted Evil Will post the photo of final result, should be beautiful, as strong alcohol extract all red colour from peppers (they literally become snow-white!). Cool

And here is the progress:

Not sure I'm ready to test that! Razz

P.S. It seems 50° is not enough to fully de-colour peppers, but the tone is already frightening... Cool

First try with the first serious peppers I've succeed to grow. Don't know what to expect, really, as JPGS is 900K SHU alone... Crying or Very sad Hope to crop more rocotos next season, so will do tincture with them alone, knowing ppl are saying aroma is fantastic; plus they are not superhots, so result would fit for regular humans as well. Smile

70 litres of Cider made in October. (should be ready by February) I used a collection of cooker apples & eating apples (no cider apples)
I tried quarter of a pint from the first batch and it's very acidic (basically needs more sugar) which i'm lacking due to not using enough eating apples so sugar may have to be added.

All told a good first attempt ...looking forward to February.

Let me see if there's a way i can get some over to you ...i'd have to check. If i bottle it (unlikely this time around) then i'll let you know. If not, i'll have another go next year with hopefully different apples (maybe some cider apples) and really try to get that sweetness out from the eating apples and leave behind the acidic taste from the cooker apples. like i say, first "batch" so it's all a little raw right now and things needs perfecting.

How's the alcohol going there?

That's unbearable to ship booze to Russia from abroad from private person. Post does not accept it, so something like TNT or UPS is an only option, which charge something like ~75 Euro to deliver a single bottle. Probably makes sense for 1K+ worth collector stuff, but not for something down to earth...

First half of December was traditionally dense, as it's packed with birthdays, now on tea. However tomorrow going to private event in Belarus, so who knows... But after some harsh adventures in Autumn, I've obviously started to enjoy much more responsibly, no more mixing stuffs, etc... Passing mid-30ies does not add durability. Smile

Like i say, it's unlikely i'll bottle this first batch but we'll see what happens.
Yes, these courier companies are expensive...far too expensive on individual basis.

Sounds like there's some ideas there.

No idea yet, this year won't spend it in Minsk (as almost usual). It seems Petrozavodsk (Karelia) guys plan to come to Moscow for NY, so probably will hang out with them. I'm not into beer brewing, that's realm of Plague666. Wink Moonshining is also on hold as my comrade got locked into hospital for few months (he is mortally ill, in fact).
