Any plans for the new year with booze? have you/will you make a stout/porter?

No idea yet, this year won't spend it in Minsk (as almost usual). It seems Petrozavodsk (Karelia) guys plan to come to Moscow for NY, so probably will hang out with them. I'm not into beer brewing, that's realm of Plague666. Wink Moonshining is also on hold as my comrade got locked into hospital for few months (he is mortally ill, in fact).

Good luck with that (the NY) i imagine it will be quite a drinking session.

Wish I could afford to drink this stuff more often, especially in the warm weather. I donít know of any local IPA thatís affordable enough to drink more than occasionally. I could drink this stuff around 4.5% alc until the cows come home. Get me on the local full strength 5.5% alc and itís a different story altogether, get spastic drunk, although I drink a lot.

That's Ukrainian vodka! Laughing What's your current location? I may take a look what shops are around and let you know what's to look there.

P.S. Tea and mineral water at least for nearest month. Cool

Ah, you need to locate decent Russian vodka there? Well, universal answer is:

The only brand which haven't spoiled since Soviet times and should be available world-wide. But I suspect should be pricey due to name. Make a photo of the assortment in your local shop (or send me link if they have online listing) and I may suggest some alternatives.

My tincture turned hellish as fuck. When I did first 50ml I've literally squint half-and-half on the bed having streams of sweat from my forehead literally dropping on the floor. But that's just first reaction, did 250ml during the day, with 20ml dozes, gone much easier. But that stuff is definitely not for boozing, but for the cases you need to get a shake or surprise/shock friends/guests.

Tommie Sjef is great. All of his beers are delicious.
During Borefts, near the end, he made a special 'blend' by throwing some stuff together, also adding some geuze.
Surprised, as it was still delicious.

Good to see some Dutch beers in here. I'm drinking some 100 watt stout from my hometown Eindhoven. Just had the 240 volt and currently enjoying the 400 volt imperial stout. Very nice!

Yesterday I had the Kompaan imperial stout.

Oersoep are great. Went to dinner in their restaurant with a friend and had a great burger accompanied by their Disorient. Really nice spicy triple. Afterwards we went to see Sator Malus, Standvast, Sammath and Isvind while pounding Hertog Jan. It was a good night!
