I'm an ale man but when summer heat won't give in, I'm sometimes tempted by the odd cider or lighter beers. This was absolutely wonderful for a sweaty afternoon:

What's considered hot weather in Finland?

Enjoying eggs, bacon, baked beans together with a 750ml Abbotsford (local macro milk stout).

It's been around 25-30+ celcius for a while on day time. That is pretty fucking hot in here. Even way up in the northern lapland.

it's not nice when you're indoors with no AC or efficient ventilation, the thermometer running up at +32 on the wall next to your vinyl and whisky collections. Cigars are also sweating in my piece of shit humidor and I keep checking for mold on a daily basis. Stressful times to say the least.

32 inside your house is rough. Must be hard to sleep.

Drinklist? I'll give you a drinklist! I stumbled across a bottle of rum called "The Kraken" on my way home from the bars last night. Needless to say I'm still drunk even after sleeping for 6-7 hours and I am being assaulted by the utmost satanic nausea.

Motherfucking hell... Laughing

I hate summer, it's so godamned humid here and I live in an attic. I thankfully have a window a/c unit, keeps me and the records cool enough for the most part. In relation to this thread, I am also more of an IPA/dark beer drinker and always struggle to find lighter beers I like in warmer weather. Any suggestions?

I usually switch to Saisons and Hefe's over the summer. But really, I think a nice crisp IPA works any time of year.

Ipa is quite apt for summertime in my view too. Just perhaps not the heavier double & triple types. The pilsner I posted a pic of earlier on this page should be right up your alley too.

And for goodness' sake, don't go messing about with wheat... Cool
